Was it the fauxhawk?
Was it the interminable buzzwords?
Was it the mispronunciation of "nucleus"?
Was it the typo right in the middle of the first page of the proposal?
Was it the story about "firing" a "multimillion dollar" client for (gasp) wanting work done right away?
Was it the mention that there is no shortage of clients in Calgary so they aren't worried about finding work?
Was it the statement that if we chose his company they would want to become our "friends"?
Was it the fact that this guy is the CEO?
I don't know. But I'm going with the people who designed this site.
Last time I was in Seattle I picked up this little gem by Matt Cipov, and I wish I'd gotten a few more of his pieces. The guy is a king of linework, and he can actually draw animals, unlike a lot of the other artists out there currently obsessed with wildlife. Take a look around his site and pick up some candy; he's super affordable right now but I'm guessing that won't be the case for much longer.

I always regretted not getting one of Mr. Utley's pieces when I lived in Seattle; apparently he's graduated from the Art/Not Terminal gallery class and is finally getting some recognition. This is an image I grabbed from his site; not a new piece, but I love it.

There is a lot of construction going on across the street from my LRT stop. I figured it would be a long, interesting process to watch every morning on my way to work, and I'm taking pictures on random dates from the same spot on the pavement. (Unless someone else is standing there)
Soon the empty rooms with tree-photo wallpaper and girly mag pix fixed in cryptic patterns will be gone, and something new will arise from the dust. Goodbye, York Hotel.
As I posted over on Seven Deadly Sinners, I brought these girls home with me last night.
Too Much LSD Girl, Eyes Like Wormy Poo Girl, Even More Maggoty Eyes Girl, Bukkake Girl, Eyes Sliced in Half Girl and Marty Feldman's Daughter join Many Dribbling Eyeballs Girl, Explosion Face Girl, and Looked Too Long at an Eclipse Girl in my bathroom cabinet just waiting for a night of fun filled frolic, silk teddies and pillow fights.
Wait on, girls. Wait on.
