RIP Canadian Penny

Today the Canadian Mint stopped distributing pennies to financial institutions; another nail in the coffin of the lucky penny.

I'd love to see the American penny disappear. The zinc ones we have now are nasty, and they seem to corrode quickly once the copper coating gets scratched or worn.

I loved the maple leaf design, but it's so weird that you still have the queen on your coins.
