By now you've seen one or more variations on this image; a lovely little rendering of Grumpy Cat holding a sign, content subject to change. What you probably don't know is the name of the artist who made the original image, because other people are cropping his signature out of the image and adding their own. Since it took me less than 7 minutes to find the original source of Grumpy Cat Sign via google reverse image search, I don't really think there's much of an excuse for "I don't know where this came from". The other day I took a coffee break and wandered across the street to my favorite hippy clothing store where I found these crazy pants. With Frankenstein on the hip. And they actually fit. I bought 'em---first time I've bought shorts in at least a decade.
And then I came home and looked up the brand, because that's how I roll. And I discovered these are skateboard hipster street fashion kid pants, made in Thailand. And I laughed in an evil way, because as a short, fat old lady, I ruin the cool of hip brands just by showing up. And I LOVE that.
The internet is going crazy with "why we hate Anne Hathaway" stories. Since I don't know anyone who hates her it's all a mystery to me, but perhaps it's best explained by Jezebel commenter Esmeralda:
"I don't like Anne Hathaway because she keeps sneaking into my house at night and filling my shoes with mashed potatoes. She also insists on texting me photos of all of her bowel movements. DAMN YOU, HATHAWAY."
Post-it note, highlighter, sharpie, that girl must really hate carbs to waste delicious mashed potatoes this way. DAMN YOU, HATHAWAY, indeed!
