Time to take a break from all the valentines.

Here's a little something inspired by this lovely bit of fluff I can't seem to get out of my head. Considering the setting of the song (an acid trip gone horribly right) the devil's daughter was probably meant to be a bit older, but it was more fun to draw her as a small girl. Besides, Old Goaty probably has more than one daughter, don't you think?

Krampus Valentine

I love devils and I love weird vintage valentines, so this image speaks to me.

What it says is, "write your proposal for the upcoming Vinegar Valentines show at Looks Could Kill Art Boutique, get the call for art out, and do a damn poster by next week".

Antique Krampus Black Peter Figure

If one must endure the never ending cheer and awful music at this time of year, one should do it with Krampus.

Here's an ebay auction for "a very rare antique austrian / german Christmas Figurine. The Krampus is just about 13" high & 5 1/4" at the widest point. It is in very good condition for his age, little paint lost and dirty but this is old-age. The Krampus figurine is made of wire, wood, coated with fabric. He has a composition Head. In his front he has a Cardboard box, with Crepes Paper on it. This Box can be filled with candy or nuts. Please see also his full of caracter face. In Austria the Krampus Devil is the same guy like Black Peter in other Countries. I dont know the exact age, but it is probably from the 1920´s or older."
