Food Face
So a couple of weeks ago when I went back to Seattle I had lunch with Bob. I got a BLT, which came with lots and lots of fruit for some reason. And fries.
I don't know about you, but when I've gotten past the really hungry stage of a meal I start playing with my food...

Is it just me, or does anyone notice a face in this plate of food? Years ago somebody found Jesus on a tortilla, and people came from miles around around to see the miracle. Supposedly, the tortilla cured a variety of maladies. Not to be outdone, the Virgin Mary appeared in a piece of toast. Seven Grain, I think. I once had a potato that looked like Charles Laughton, but had no curative powers. Still, it was delicious with butter and salt and pepper.
But this plate has me vexed. Hold the palms of your hands against the computer screen and make a wish. See what happens. Please post any results of miracles. Bless you.

I always look at food in hopes I'll see a face, but no dice so far. I guess as a [very lapsed] Jew I probably won't be seeing Jesus, but I can always hope for a spaghetti squash shaped like Gene Wilder or perhaps a slightly withered apple that looks like David Lee Roth.

I found a white raisin once that looked like Keith Richards.

Here is another weird example of finding subliminal sacred messages hidden in common food. Some fisherman find a fish that spells "Allah" in Arabic.

Also, a fish that has quotations from the Koran.

Here's an oyster that looks like Jesus, or my Uncle Mort.

Don't laugh at what you don't understand, Plucky. Here's the Virgin Mary on a piece of toast. Yes, there is a God.
