I spend a lot of time in the orchid house at work (it's a nice break from designing stuff and nagging people). Sure, the flowers are amazing, but I've come to really appreciate the wacky root systems of orchids. Here's something I started painting in the mist and finished in my warm dry studio (with hail falling outside).
