The Courtship of Eddie's Saucers

It being one of several World UFO Days and all (this one, July 2, commemorating the Roswell Incident), it seems appropriate to post this image done for the Video Vulture column a few weeks back. Mr. Vulture was writing about skewed memory and the rewriting of cinematic history. Even Ed Wood Jr. began stating in interviews that he used hubcaps and pie plates as the flying saucers in his epic, Plan 9 From Outer Space. The truth was finally revealed in the excellent 1992 documentary Flying Saucers Over Hollywood, which has since been included as an extra on the Wade Williams DVD release.

Don't know how you managed, but you captured waning-era Wood without making him too ickily sad. There's some joy here. Along with missing teeth.
