Amazing.

(Waits for some twenty-seven year old with tats and a tiny cowboy hat to copy, proceed to get solo show at La Luz, lauded as edgy genius.)

Kip- Speaking of Goliwogs-do you remember the Noddy books? I think they were English- I got them from my Grandmother...

Kirsten

Oh geez- looks like Noddy has had a resurgence- just googled it.

I never had any Noddy books but had heard of them; thanks for the link! My biodad was always talking about Biggles: http://www.biggles.info/ and then there's the hooplah about Captain Pugwash, debunked on snopes: http://www.snopes.com/radiotv/tv/pugwash.htm

Hi ... not sure if this will reach you ???

Have only just found your foureyedbat site as have been trying to source my favourite childhood book = Magic Island by Clifford Webb. Is your copy for sale? I live in N.Z. and had an ex-library one, which was thrown out once it fell to pieces when I was about 10 yrs old ( yes, I'm THAT old.I'm an artist, and now realise why I was so drawn to the illustrations - they took me into a world of wonderful imagination. I'd love to see the book again!
