Originally drawn for an Exclaim! Comic Book calendar (can't remember which distant year exactly... but they probably wouldn't have a clue either), but dug up and re-coloured for all of you lovely people this very same magical spooky-ass season.
Very nice work, good segmented design might go well in stained glass with leaded dividers. I like the autumnal, Halloween colours! Perhaps I'll carve this on a pumpkin, and stick it on my fencepost. Nothing like a great carved gourd for the old folks at home, I always say. It's a tradition, innit? And you can roast the seeds on a cookie tray and feed them to people. They look like little leatherback bedbugs, hence all the confusion at the logging camp.
Candy corn, Kip! Just a bowl of candy corn is what I'm having, and you're welcome to some. Help yourself. We're celebrating Halloween down here in the lower forty-eight, and we're all sugar-rushing big time! Candy is this year's crack, and I have a terrible weakness for it. You might say my sweet tooth is my Achille's heel. I lost a Fun-Size Snicker the other day and I turned the house upside-down searching for it like Ray Milland in Lost Weekend.
Love the washed out colors!

It's the Filbrandt-West influence. Plus, being a washed up artist helps.

As long as it's not Ray Milland in The Man with the X-Ray Eyes, cuz he'd be able to see that candy corn all the way down.
And ew.
